Completed & Ongoing Projects

Langley Community Center Field

The South Whidbey Project is pleased to share exciting updates on the Community Center field restoration, a project we're proud to help fund.

With Brian McCleary leading the charge, and our foundation's support, the irrigation system is nearly fully operational, ensuring the field's long-term health. A new fence has been installed on the east side, enhancing safety for all users. Additionally, thanks to Parks and Rec and funding from the local soccer club, significant improvements are already visible.

We're committed to restoring this field to its former glory, with completion anticipated by Fall 2024.

South Whidbey Community Scholarships

The South Whidbey Project is proud to support the next generation of leaders by donating $10,000 in scholarships to three outstanding students from the class of 2024. These scholarships are a testament to our commitment to empowering the youth in our community. We congratulate the recipients and wish them great success in their educational and career endeavors.

Whidbey Island's Learning Center for Languages, Arts and STEM

The South Whidbey Project is thrilled to announce our partnership with the Whidbey Island Language Art & STEM Center (WILASC). Our recent grant will help enhance WILASC's STEM summer camps by providing essential classroom supplies and scholarships, ensuring all interested students can participate.

We believe in WILASC's mission to diversify educational opportunities on the island and are proud to support their after-school programs and camps.
